"On the Hunt" was composed by Bobby Prince using the program Voyetra Sequencer Plus Gold. It is played in Doom in levels E1M6: Central Processing and E3M6: Mt. Erebus. Like most of the heavy metal songs in Doom, Bobby Prince used popular metal music for inspiration. Listeners compare this track to Believer's "Sanity Obscure".
