Vorbis is a patent free, open source digital music format similar to MP3. It is part of the Ogg media container.

Vorbis is supported natively by Winamp, Media Player Classic, VLC, rockbox, and many other players. More players can be found at vorbis.org. There are also plugins below that give Vorbis support to Windows Media Player, QuickTime, and iTunes.

If you are using a device that doesn't support Vorbis (like Apple's iPod or Microsoft's Zune), then read the Vorbis Tutorial.
