Marshall Parker has been the in-house composer of Beam Software, now known as Krome Studios. He is probably best known for writing the music to Shadowrun for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Nightshade for the NES. After Tania Smith was leaving on tour with Kyle Minogue, she asked Marshall to take her position at Beam Software for music and sound effects and he accepted. His first project was Star Wars for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1991. Today he works at Krome Studios (formerly known as Beam Software) as a music director but does not compose music for them. Marshall's first work on the NES was for the second half of Back to the Future II and III but his first project alone was Star Wars for NES. Marshall currently lives in Singapore.

Music Composition

Marshall said he used a hex editor for his NES music and used a MIDI interface for his SNES music.
