Justin Muir is an Australian graphic artist and composer. In 1992, he joined Beam Software as a graphic artist and left a couple years later. In 1995 to 2000 he left Beam with Bill McIntosh to join Bill's company Torus Games. While working there, he composed the music to a couple of their GameBoy titles. In 2000, Justin left Torus and joined Transmission Games' Australian divisions. In October 2004, Justin became the animation director at Midway. When the company closed its doors, he started working at his last game company, Day:1 Studios in April of 2009. Currently, Muir works at Northwestern University as a lead animator.

It may be possible that Justin Muir is confused with Torus Games' other composer Justin Scharvona.
