King's Quest IV features a lengthy Introduction song that both provides a score for the scene and acts as an overture including elements of the King's Quest IV Theme, Genesta's Theme, the Fairy Theme, and finally ending with the Credits music. The song was composed by William Goldstein.

Five different types of output were designed for the DOS release, each output corresponds to a different group of devices, the Roland, Yamaha, OPL2, 3 Voice, and PC Speaker.

The song is the concatenation of sound.103, sound.104, sound.105, and sound.106 in the resource files. The last song file loops for all outputs except 3 Voice.
