Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (SNES)
|Home Alone 2: Lost in New York|
Home Alone 2 is a platforming game that is based on the popular movie of the same name. The player takes the role of Kevin McCallister, who has taken the wrong plane and has ended up in New York. While he's there, so are the Wet Bandits, Marv and Harry. It is up to Kevin to stop them again. The first level is in the Plaza Hotel where Kevin must dodge the stupidest enemies: suitcases, luggage bags, crazy old women jumping and swinging their umbrellas. The second level is in Central Park, where Kevin must make his way through people hiding behind trees waiting to ambush him. He then goes underground and has to avoid birds and meets the bird woman. The third level is in Uncle Harry's Townhouse where he must set various traps like in the movie. Then the final level is where Kevin is being chased by the Wet Bandits. Then he must make it inside the Christmas tree and stop the Wet Bandits with the help of the bird woman.

The music in this game is not too bad. It is ported from the NES version. Mark Van Hecke composed only 8 songs, which is a disappointment considering the NES version had nearly double that amount. The music was made in Dr. T KCS for the Macintosh.
