Neither the game nor the manual have credits. The game uses the CUBE sound team's sound driver. Since the other games using the driver credit only CUBE sound staff, it is most likely the sound team did the music themselves, rather than a non-sound team member do the music. Other CUBE games on the Super Famicom credited composers such as [[Yoshiaki Kubotera]], [[Hiroshi Fujioka]], [[Hiroshi iizuka]], and [[Masanori Hikichi]], so any of them could be possible composers. Platform: SFC
Year: 1995
Developer: Access

Habu Meijin no Omoshiro Shougi (Master Habu's Interesting Shogi) is a board-game simulation developed by Access and published by Tomy Corporation. It stars shogi champion Yoshiharu Habu.

The game plays mostly like any other shogi video game. There are a few modes to choose from in the main menu; In Shogi Game (将棋対局), you can play a standard exhibition game of shogi against either another human player or a computer opponent with four difficulty levels. You can also set either player's timer. Interesting Shogi (おもしろ将棋) is the main mode of the game where the opponent's pieces are invisible to the first player, which gives an added challenge. Memoirs of Great Games (名勝負回顧録) allows the player to select and view one of many of Habu's games. Game Clock (対局時計) allows the player to set the timer for themselves and the opponent. Finally, Resume Game (対局再開) allows players to load a game they had previously saved.

Yoshiharu Habu would receive three more shogi video games with his endorsement. The next one being Saikyou Habu Shougi (N64), which is also one of the most infamous shogi games in its native Japan.

Music

The game contains only six tracks; not much for a game in 1995. The genre mostly consists of orchestral tracks mixed with traditional-sounding themes.

What's interesting is the track Battle Theme 2 is a single sound effect. The game's options list it as one of two music tracks, but only a single solitary sound plays. However, it has been added to the soundtrack, as the game lists it as a music track. The other music track is nice, but since it's only about a minute-and-a-half long, it can get repetitive after playing for a long time.

Neither the game nor the manual have credits. The game uses the CUBE sound team's sound driver. In addition, CUBE listed the game in their works on their website, which has since been archived. Other CUBE games on the Super Famicom credited composers such as Yoshiaki Kubotera, Hiroshi Fujioka, Hiroshi iizuka, and Masanori Hikichi, so any of them could be possible composers. We contacted Noriyuki Iwadare about this game but he said he did not work on the game, and did not know who may have worked on it.
