Going After Hitler is played in E2M3, E2M8, E5M3, E5M8 of Wolfenstein 3D (DOS). Bobby Prince composed it using Sequencer Plus Gold, then original MIDI files were converted into IMF.

You may notice one interesting thing in OPL2 version not presented in other games which versions are based on MIDI original. On 0:24, 0:40 and 0:56 you may hear a stange sound, some sort of bell ring. But original MIDI file don't have that note. Most probably it was a bug during conversion, and track unexpectedly became more complex in structure and more interesting for listeners.

The tune is track 18 in the AudioT.WL6 file, but it's not included in the shareware version of the game. It's IMF meta data tag titles the song "GOINGAFT".

Game's porter, GASEGA98K, did an amasing job converting music to the inferior YM2612 chip, so most of the AdLib DOS sound was kept. He also kept the ringing bell presented in original version that other ports are lacking.

Due to the fact that only the first episode is playable currently, while this song is played in E2M3, E2M7, E5M3 and E5M7, we can assume that GASEGA98K just arranged this song for the future to use it when the rest work will be done. However, it is heard in sound test menu.
