The Game Music Format (GMF) (the name is a guess) was created by Adventure Soft for their Adventure Game Operating System (AGOS) engine.

Players

Currently, there are no stand alone players, but the SCUMM VM, which supports the AGOS engine, has a GMF player built-in.

Games

(Category)
Released Title Sample
1990-??-?? Elvira: Mistress of the Dark (DOS)
1991-??-?? Elvira II: The Jaws of Cerberus (DOS)
1992-??-?? WaxWorks (DOS)
1993-??-?? Simon the Sorcerer (DOS)

Technical

There appear to be two versions of GMF, and earlier version used in the Elvira games, and then a later version used in Simon and the Sorcerer. While the files have similar structures, the Simon the Sorcerer version has a header that begins with "GMF" which is lacking in the Elvira games.
