Fasttracker II is a tracker for MS-DOS made by Fredrik "Mr. H" Huss and Magnus "Vogue" Högdahl. The tracker allowed composers to use high quality digital sampled instruments. The users of the program could use any .WAV file and use it as an instrument. It was also MIDI-compatible so users could play through they keyboard. Fasttracker II allowed a maximum of 32 tracks and a minimum of 2 tracks. Fasttracker II has been used to make music for many N64 games. Milkytracker was later released and is a Windows-compatible version of Fasttracker II.
