Eurhythm (NES Driver)
Eurhythm (NES Driver) is an unofficial name of the sound driver used by the sound team Eurhythm. The game Tetra Star credits Kazune Hiiragi for Music Program, verifying his programming of the driver. However, the name Kazune Hiiragi may be an alias.
The driver was only used in four Japanese Famicom games, and unfortunately did not see the light of day in American or European countries. The first game to use the driver was Cosmic Epsilon, and the last game was Famicom Igo Nyuumon. Only Cosmic Epsilon and Tetra Star contain credits and only Tetra Star credits the Eurhythm sound team. The other two games are not known to have credits, but a code comparison has been made to confirm all four games use the same sound engine.
The driver outputs to the RP2A03, including the DPCM channel for drums.
