Dungeons & Dragons is one of the most popular RPG franchises in the world. It began in 1974 and has branched out into many different forms of media, including video games. While unofficial games were being made shortly after the pen and paper system debuted, the first officially licensed console game didn't show up until 1982.
Since the series is so broad, it is broken up into additional series pages based on the various campaign settings.
