Demons On the Prey begins with an eerie sound, and crescendos into a monotonous, yet sinister, drum beat.

The song is played in E1M7: Computer Station, E2M5: Command Center, E3M5: Unholy Cathedral, and E4M8: Unto the Cruel (if you have Ultimate Doom). The song exists three times in the Doom.wad under the names "D_E1M7", "D_E2M5", and "D_E3M5". This track appears on the Doom Music album.

Bobby Prince used Sequencer Plus Gold to compose all of the music in Doom.
