Brian Coburn is an American composer and sound designer known for his work with Sega. In 1981 Brian attended the University of California, Santa Cruz and graduated in 1985. His video game music career began at Sega when he joined them in 1992. While working there, he composed some music for them but mostly ended up making sound effects. He worked at Sega until 1997. Brian no longer composes video game music but continues to program video games among other things.

For Doom, Brian obtained the original files from Bobby Prince. He used GEMS for the conversion.
