Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold is a first-person shooter with a science fiction theme that uses an improved Wolfenstein 3D (DOS) engine. You control Blake Stone ans try to stop Dr. Pyrus Goldfire's attempt to take over the Earth with his army of mutants. Despite adding textured floors and ceilings, diminished lighting, and a more interactive world, the technology was still eclipsed with Doom (DOS) being released a week later.

Music

Although the 3D engine had been improved, the sound engine remained the same AdLib engine used in Wolfenstein 3D. Bobby Prince put together a fitting soundtrack for the game.

The IMF files were ripped from the AudioHed.BS6 and AudioT.BS6 files using eXtensible WAD Editor. The 8.3 file names come from the AudioT.BS6 file. They were renamed to the WLF extension for the correct playback rate. The titles have been extrapolated from these file names, but Bobby Prince may know the correct full titles. The ripped files were recorded using AdPlug version 1.6 through Winamp.
