'''''Bionic Commando''''' was ported to the Commodore 64 by two different companies, one in the [[Bionic Commando (C64)|USA]] and this one for Europe. The PAL version of Europe is superior to the USA version with better graphics, music, controls, and a more accurate portrayal of the original arcade game. As with the arcade game, you play Super Joe, a soldier with a bionic arm who must shoot and swing his way through five highly dangerous stages. The game is incredibly difficult, and the low-resolution graphics of the Commodore 64 don't make it any easier.

Music

Most of the music is just a rearrangement of the original arcade music, although Tim Follin infused a bit of his own flair into the tracks. However, the loader and ending themes were composed especially for this game.
