Axelay is a scrolling shoot-em-up. You must pilot the Axelay ship to stop the alien invaders from destroying your home world of Corliss. The game interestingly combines subtle aspects of a fantasy RPG with a scrolling shooter.

Music
The music of Axelay is very creative and fits perfectly to the game's stages. Much like the game the music is themed for action and it has a lot of power and strength to it.
