American Video Entertainment (commonly referred to as AVE) was a U.S. game company that produced unlicensed games for the Nintendo Entertainment System. While they didn't develop many games, they published many titles developed by Taiwanese companies such as Computer & Entertainment, Idea-Tek, and Sachen. They also published games from the American developer Odyssey Software. AVE is also known for producing the Maxi 15 cartridge, which contained fifteen independent games which were published by AVE, and even a few Color Dreams titles made it in the mix.
