Title - 180

Title is a bright song that plays at the title screen of the game 180.
The song was not arranged for World Darts (AST), but a jingle variation called Waiting was.

Title
The VGMPF made "Title" up, not knowing an official title.
Composition
All arrangements were typed in the key of C, but most ended up transposed due to technical oversights or limits.

Title plays over the main menu. In the very common original release, it also plays instead of Waiting.
The song was recorded:
- in PAL. It plays in C as intended.
- from an American compilation in VICE 3.7.1 with C64 NTSC. Since nobody adjusted the audio to NTSC, it is 19% faster and tuned at 457 Hz, making it closer to C♯.
- On old NTSC C64s, it is instead 22% faster, arguably too similar for an extra recording.
It sounds otherwise the same on every SID chip and is track 1 in the rip.

For unknown reasons, Brooke's driver is transposed one semitone down.
The song is rendered on Atari's POKEY chip and track 1 in the rip.

Title is unused on the CPC. Waiting plays instead.
For recording, the main menu was modified to play Title and then watched in WinAPE Version 2.0 Beta 2. The song is rendered on the CPC's AY-3-8912 chip and track 1 in the rip.

Title starts when the control setup appears and resumes (not restarts) when the pub appears. It does stop and rewind when a leg starts, and pauses when you can move your virtual hand.
Due to a porting oversight, Whittaker's driver was tuned at 390 Hz (or transposed down two semitones and then tuned at 438 Hz).
The song was recorded from Game Emu Player. It is rendered on the AY-3-8912 chip in 128K Spectrums and track 1 in the rip.

Due to a porting oversight, Binary's driver was tuned at 390 Hz (or transposed down two semitones and then tuned at 438 Hz).
The song is rendered on the MSX's AY-3-8910 chip. There is no known rip so far, although the sound can be potentially logged into VGM.

Title plays during the computer's turn and then fades out in half a second. The turn itself lasts no longer than 6 seconds.
The coin-op is based on an Amiga 500 at NTSC. Brooke transposed his driver four semitones down to G♯, because the Amiga hardware would have detuned too high notes.
For recording, the opponent screen was modified to stand still and then watched in WinUAE 5.1.0 with NTSC on, Audio filter at Emulated (A500), and Stereo separation at 100%.
In the JCB rip, the song is track 1, but plays too slow as no known player supports NTSC.

The audio data is identical to the above coin-op original, but used differently. Also, since this home computer version was published in PAL territory, gamers heard it much slower. It still sounds like G♯.
After the announcer says "Arcadia presents World Darts", Title plays, the title screen fades out, and the main menu scrolls in. Once you press joystick 1 button 1, Set Start follows.
For recording, the menu was watched in WinUAE 4.3.0 with NTSC off, Audio filter at Emulated (A500), and Stereo separation at 100%. In the JCB file, it is track 1.

Title plays over the main menu and over the computer's turn until he throws. The programmer(s) worked at unmuting the music after a sound effect finishes, but neglected to keep the speaker on.
The music driver is closest to Jason Brooke's Amiga driver (naturally cut down for the poor PC Speaker) and identical to the one in Strike! (DOS), which uses a confirmed Brooke composition. The song data is closest to 180 (CPC) and toggles arpeggios in an incompatible way, hence the first two seconds are almost always out of tune, rising the question if the DOS arranger was in fact Brooke.
For recording, the menu was watched on a Pentium 60 MHz, with a microphone standing in front of the PC Speaker.
