Music

The music was composed by Frank Klepacki, who did numerous soundtracks for Westwood. He was 21 years old when he did this soundtrack. The music differs from Frank's usual rock style of music. Here, the music has more of a Latin feel.

The channel tracks in each MIDI file are named after a piece of music hardware. For example, "JD-990" which is a sound module from Roland. There is also "ASR" (Ensoniq ASR), "760" (Roland S760), "I-82" and "B-33".

WWSONG04.MID, WWSONG05.MID, WWSONG07.MID mention Ray Brown and McCoy Tyner.

(Info)

The game uses the standard MIDI format for music and WAV format for sound effects. The MIDI files are located under the /SCORES folder in the CD's directory.

The sound effects are in four different folders, two of which are for 32-bit sound and the other two for 16-bit sound. Due to space limitations, only the better quality sound effects are provided.
