Matt Booty is an American video game developer. From 1988 to 1991, he attended Purdue University for Computer and Electrical Engineering. From 1992 to 1995, he served as the Sound Department Manager at Williams Entertainment. In 1995, he joined Midway Games. During his time there, he performed various duties such as game design and programming, and by March 2008, he had become the President and CEO of the company. In April 2010, he left Midway and joined Microsoft, again, working various duties. Currently, he serves as the head of Microsoft Studios in Redmond, Washington.

While Matt did not compose music, during his time with Midway, he not only provided sound effects, but was also responsible for their DCS Sound System, along with Ed Keenan.
