Ken Lagace began his video game music career as a composer for MicroProse Software in 1986 and ended it about ten years later, still composing music for MicroProse.

Lagace graduated music school with a performance degree in 1960. He then joined the US Coast Guard Band because of the Cuban missile crisis. He later taught music at a university and he played in an orchestra for 23 years. Lagace eventually wound up becoming a computer programmer, which he did for 20 years. Ken Lagace now is a photographer.
