Jason Emery was born in Maryland on June 5th, 1974 as an only child. He showed an early interest in programming and wrote several video games as part of the NortQuest series. Upon discovering assembly programming while at the library he began his first professional game, Tyrian. Tyrian became very popular, but it wasn't long before his work in the PC market ended. Later, he started working as a programmer for Amaze Entertainment, a company known for developing movie tie-in games for the various Game Boy platforms.

While not a musician, Emery is credited in Tyrian for supplying additional sound effects.

Emery currently lives in Washington, USA. His interests include biking, computers, movies, music, and plushies. He is a heavy drinker of lemonade.
