Game

Chex Quest 2 was available at the same time as the first Chex Quest. However, instead of being released on a CD bundled with cereal the game had to be downloaded from the chexquest.com Web site (which no longer has the game available for download). The game play is the same as Chex Quest 1. You shoot phlegm aliens for five new stages. There are a few new graphics, but pretty much everything is the same as before. All the game does is give you a new IWAD and a batch file to run it.. It's still a fun game and a very complete total conversion of DOOM.

Music

Much like the first Chex Quest game the music of Chex Quest 2 is rather cartoony and light sounding, just like the mood of the game. The Introduction, Intermission, and Victory tracks are the same as Chex Quest, so they were not recorded again. Although the game doesn't have any documentation, it was created by the same team that made Chex Quest, so it is assumed that the game had the same audio team.

Ripping

Since the Chex Quest 2 game is based on the DOOM engine, the game uses MUS music as well. It was ripped from the Chex2.WAD file and recorded using Winamp.
